The “Second 50” Project

After completing another trip around the sun, it became apparent that I’m past the “half-way” mark in my life. At least, that appears to be the case based on the longevity of my ancestors. The title of this post should give you an idea of my age. I’ve arrived at a point where I feel that I need to stop, look around, see where I’ve been, and where I’m going. Is my compass working? Are my maps correct? Where did I get them? Am I actually following them?

This blog is a place where I’ll post my public thoughts on the answers that I begin to find plus a lot of random observations and comments along the way. You are most welcome to join. At this time I’ve not decided whether or not to allow comments, but perhaps will do if it feels right and can be managed.

In the past, I’ve been prone to leave these spaces where they can gather dust to the point where it was easier to discard, but I’m pledging to myself to keep this up on a regular basis.
